I believe my job as a healthcare professional is to give you the tools to live a healthier, happier life. I understand that it can be difficult to loose weight which is why, when used effectively, GLP-1 medications can be used to aid in your weight loss journey. What is Tirzepatide?
Tirzepatide also belongs to the class of GLP-1 receptor agonists. What sets tirzepatide apart is its dual action as both a GLP-1 receptor agonist and a glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide (GIP) receptor agonist. This dual action helps to lower blood sugar levels through multiple pathways, making it potentially more effective than traditional GLP-1 agonists alone.
